Interview of Subhash Palekar
There is another alternative given to farmers, that is organic farming.
Now you will get that organic farming is a big movement in the world,
but I want all you to know that how much dangerous is chemical farming
more dangerous is organic farming. How much poisonous is chemical
farming more poisonous is organic farming. How much exploitative is
chemical farming, more exploitative is organic farming. You will say that
how is that possible? We are hearing organic farming is the best and
you are saying saying organic is more dangerous than chemical. Yes,
when I say that organic farming is more dangerous than chemical farming
it is my commitment to prove it scientifically. We will verify how it is
dangerous.
That exploitative system throughout the world who want to exploit the
economy of the rural and urban area and to increase their wealth, they
have given these two techniques, 1. chemical farming and 2. organic farming.
The aim behind these techniques is to not create humus in the soil, because
humus is the backbone of the soil. The reserve bank bank of the soil.
Every plant take nutrients from the humus from the soil. That means humus
is the foodstuff of the plants. When the humus is created all the nutrients
are made available to the plants and thus farmers will not commit to purchase
any inputs from the market. They want farmers to commit to purchase every
input from the market. Because when farmers come to the city to purchase
seeds, chemical and organic fertilizers, insecticides, tractor, ultimately, the
money from the villages will go to the city, the money will not remain in the
city, only commission it the city. The money will go to the producing
multinational companies. That means outside the country, that means foreign
country. This is the financial damage. They want to exploit rural economy.
And for that purpose they suggest two techniques, chemical farming and organic
farming, so that humus will not be created in the soil. When humus is not
created in the soil, ultimately farmers will commit to purchase inputs from the
market and ultimately the financial benefit will go to the multinational companies
towards that exploratory system. This is the conspiracy.

I have just explained that humus is the backbone of the soil. The great philosopher
Socrates said that humus is the heart of the soil. It is correct. When any root of
any plant takes the nutrient from the soil through the humus, that means humus is
the foodstuff of the root. If less humus is existed in the soil our soil will be less
fertile, if maximum humus existed i the soil the more fertile will be the soil. That
means fertility of the soil means humus and live microorganism count in the soil.
It is a straight equation, fertility is called humus content in the soil and micro-bio
availability in the soil. This humus is created by decomposition process. It must be
done by decomposition process on the surface of the soil.

Now decomposition, humus is created by the decomposition of straw. What is straw?
I will define. Dead body of any living being is straw. The leaves fallen is straw, dead
body of bird-straw, dead body of the plant- straw, dead body of insect-straw,dead
body of human being-straw every living being’s dead body – straw. That means the
waste of the agriculture, the biomass. The biomass is used for mulching on the
surface of the soil for the creation of humus. It is not to be burned or to be feed to
Eisenia fetida to prepare vermicompost which is the prior input of organic farming.
But what has happened is that this humus is created by decomposition by the straw
by microorganism. That means that two inputs are needed for humus creation Number
one Straw materiel (agricultural waste or bio mass) and second, the culture for micro
organisms. The best culture for the microorganism is desi cow dung or bos indicus cow
dung. In 1 grams of you get more than 300 crore (3 billion) benefical microorganism.
That means that desi cow dung is the best culture of the microorganism. That means
for humus creation we want two inputs, straw inputs (agricultural waste, biomass),
second desi cow dung, or it may be possible in Araibian countries camel dung. I have
verified camel dung is also good.
That means at any cost we are not going to burn the straw, we are not going to feed
the straw to Eisenia fetida to prepare organic vermicompost which the prior input of
organic farming. At any cost we are not going to destroy desi cow dung. we are not
to utilize desi cow dung for non agricultural purposes, we are not going to fee desi cow
dung to aseono fitida for vermi compost.

In chemical farming agriculture universities suggested to the farmers to destroy the straw.
they have given the name clean farming. Because they do not want to creat humus. When
straw will be destroyed humus will not be created in the soil, and when humus will not created
in the soil nutrients will not get to the roots, and when nutrients will not get to the
availiaveroots becasue of the lavck to humus in the sol ultimately the farmers will commit to
purchase urea, s. phosphate, pottasioam sulfate from the market and again the money will
go from the villages to the city to the multinational companies and again there will be financial
erosion. This is the conspiracy.

And again, to destroy the Desi cow dung they have sent Bos Taurus , what is called Jersey
Holstein. Jersey Holstein is not a cow, because it does not have a hump. No characteristic
of the Desi cow dung exists in the Jersey Holsteins. I am writing now book, new English book
400 pages on only indigenous Indian cows. In there am writing what the difference between
Indian cows and foriegn cows, Bos Indicus and Bos Taurus. How Jersey Holstein is not a cow
it is a different animal. I will verify in that book, but because the lack of the time I will verify
there not here. They introduced jersey Holstein to destroy Desi cow dung. In jersey Holstein
only 70 lakh (7 million) microorganism are in the jersey Holstein and most of them are pathogenic
bacteria harmful bacteria. I have tried both cow dungs Desi and Jersey Holstein cow dung and
urine and i found there is no result by Jersy Holstein And if it is the truth why are we going to
purchase Jersy Holstein.

Stay tuned for more on the subject….
